Qualification Details
By Association of Certified Chartered Accountants [ACCA] UK. On successful completion of the ACCA professional examination with relevant working experience will enable graduates to become Certified Chartered Accountants and use the designatory letters ACCA.
The minimum entry requirements for the ACCA Qualification are: Two A-Levels and three GCSEs (or their equivalent). These need to be in five separate subjects including English and maths. Students can take session based exams during our four exam sessions a year. These take place over 5 days in March, June, September and December.
A maximum of nine Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills exams of the ACCA Qualification can be awarded. Please take a look at the Exemptions calculator to find out which exemptions you could claim.

All three Applied Knowledge exams and one Applied Skills exams within the ACCA qualification are taken by on-demand CBE:

Strategic Professional are sat as Paper Based Exam.
You have seven years to pass the Strategic Professional exams once you pass your first Strategic Professional exam. If you don’t pass all the Strategic Professional exams and reach affiliate status within seven years, you’ll lose any Strategic Professional passes achieved after seven years. These will need to be re-taken in order to complete the qualification..
